Nigerian fashion designer and celebrity stylist Toyin Lawani rocked this custom made Swarovski stones bikini on her birthday. A few days to her anniversary, the mother of two posted a picture of her newly acquired piece of bikini lingerie online and stated she was going to wear it for her birthday pool party.

Many dared her to do so as they said it was impractical to wear such a piece. And the creative director of Tiannahstyling did not disappoint. She wore the bling bikini, took a picture of it showing off her well toned body, and posted it online.

And as usual, the photo got people talking. Many alleged she was too old to be showing off her body in such a risqué way. Others said she does not act and dress like a mother. And so much more.

Above is the photo she posted to announce she was going to wear the customised Swarovski stones bikini to celebrate her birthday below.

Selma 50: Sasha & Malia Join Parents To Mark Civil-Rights Turning Point

Five decades after the historic civil-rights confrontation at the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, Alabama, President Barack Obama led the 50th anniversary march on Saturday March 7th to celebrate the event. The 1965 march from Selma to Montgomery resulted in a violent and bloody confrontation with Selma police and State Troopers.

To commemorate the event, the president made a powerful speech addressing America’s voting rights and how some progress have been achieved. He went on to say there is still much more to do as there is still some form of assaults on voting rights.

The president was joined by First Lady, Michelle Obama, their two girls, Sasha and Malia, as well as former President George W. Bush and his wife Laura. Other people who participated at the march are U.S. Rep. John Lewis of Georgia, faith leaders, some of the original foot soldiers from 1965, as well as about 100 congress members.

Selma, the film produced by Oprah Winfrey and others and features Nigerian-born British actor David Oyelowo as the main character, was inspired by this event. Oyewole played the role of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the brave activist that led the group in the march that resulted to the signing of the Voting Rights Act of 1965 by President Lyndon Johnson. The Act made it easy for black Americans to register and vote.

The Obama girls looked very stylish in their outfit as they celebrate one of the most historic moment in the lives of African Americans.

Paris Fashion Week: Kim Kardashian Rock All Black Outfits From Givenchy & Balmain

Paris Fashion Week is usually focused on the beautiful creations French fashion designers have put together for the season. But this year, Kim Kardashian succeeded in making sure it’s all about her by stealing the attention from the runway as everyone keeps on talking about her, her outfits, and her newly debuted platinum blond hair.

Look 1: Km Kardashian All Black Balmain Ensemble

Kim Kardashian was first photographed wearing an all black Balmain Spring 2015 bandage cut-out dress and sheer pants that were created by Olivier Rousteing. She wore a black jacket over the outfit and paired it with a pair of black boots and her newly debuted blond hair. The model and “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star and her husband are Balmain Paris ambassadors and the 34-year-old socialite and businesswoman has been wearing a couple of pieces from the brand.

Look 2: Km Kardashian All Black Givenchy Ensemble

The reality TV star and mother of one later attended Givenchy’s star-studded dusk show at Paris Fashion Week, rocking another all-black ensemble. This time, she was seen wearing a Givenchy lace-up detailing catsuit with a plunging neckline that displayed her cleavage. Kim who wore no bra under the jumpsuit paired it up with a pair of black leather over-the-knee peep-toe high-heeled boots and a black belt. And of course, her newly debuted platinum blond hair.

“Black is always elegant. It is the most complete color in the world,” said Givenchy’s designer Riccardo Tisci, about the look.

When it comes to stealing the show with a controversial fashion style, some people know how to do it and really do it in an almost Lady Gaga’s way. Nigerian actress, Belinda Effah attended the 2015 edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards wearing a statement African print outfit and very crazy show-stopping hair style.

On her Instagram page, Belinda Efuah wrote about her style using the following hashtags, “‘#IAmNotAfraidToBeAfrican #IDontHaveIdentityCrisis #BlackAndStrongAfricanWoman #WillRockThisHairAnytime.”

Effah’s hairstyle got many talking online. From social media networks to forums and blogs, her hairstyle was a topic of discussion.

Commenting on the hair, a Nairaland user known as @nerodenero wrote: “This reminds me of ‘Simbi’ in the old Primary School English book (Macmillan).” Another user @Lakayanah wrote: “I don’t know who she is but she is so cute and unique. She dared to be different she achieved her aim quite impressive.”

On Linda Ikeji’s blog, @AwesomeR wrote: “It’s a Big NO for me…Anyway, they are trying to be creative and making fashion statements. I love Effah’s gown but the hairstyle isn’t appropriate for the occasion. With that hairstyle, she has this scary Halloween look. OAP Yaw looks like a comedian about to go on stage to Perform.”

Paris Fashion Week: Kim Kardashian In Fur Coat & Leather Pants

Kim Kardashian is still enjoying Paris as the fashion week continues and the reality TV star and wife of Kanye West show off her new blond look. The business woman and mother of one was photographed yesterday wearing a black leather pant and an eye-catching pink fur coat while out and about in Paris. In the photo above, the model is seen leaving the Royal Monceau Hotel to go to a hip restaurant called L’avenue.

Kim debuted her blond look on the first day of Paris Fashion Week show. The Balmain muse and her husband have been having some good time as they have been photographed showing public display of affection. In one of those pictures, Kanye is seen grabbing his wife’s famous bum.

DJ Cuppy, the daughter of Nigerian billionaire businessman Femi Otedola, wore this colourful African print dress to the Oil Barons Charity Ball that was held on March 6th at The Meydan Hotel in Dubai.

“Love Taking A Little Bit Of Africa Everywhere I Go! Official DJ At The Oil Barons Charity Ball! ‪#‎Cuppyonamission‬ ‪#‎Oilbarons‬ ‪#‎Khona‬ ‪#‎Skelewu‬,” she wrote on her Facebook page.

The buddy entertainer was not just a guest at the event, but the official DJ. “Cuppy Is So Proud And Excited To Be The Official DJ For The 2015 Oil Barons Charity Ball… Good Luck Tonight Cuppy! ‪#‎CuppyOnTheDecks‬,” she posted on her Instagram and Facebook page, @Cuppymusic.

The image has been trending on Twitter for a couple of days now. And some people are calling upon the child protection service to take action.

People are talking about this photo because the majority of them find it to be disgusting. And the reason is not because the child grabbed a huge chunk of the lips into his mouth. The debate and anger are about the way the woman’s lips looks. Many feel she is a drug abuser and has no business raising a child.

American music artist and new mum Kelly Rowland attended Paris Fashion Week 2015 on Thursday wearing this black see-through leather jumpsuit. The former Destiny’s Child’s group member wore the outfit to Barbara Bui’s Fall/Winter presentation at the Paris Fashion Week show where she showed off her well-toned post-baby body.

The 34-year-old mum who sat on the front row at the event completed her look with a pair of silver and white pumps, body chain and a pair of diamond earrings.

Kelly gave birth to her first child named Titan Jewell Weatherspoon about four months ago.
