The ESSENCE Black Women in Hollywood luncheon took place on Thursday February 20th at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel in Los Angeles and was well attended. The 8th edition of the event’s red carpet was graced with several celebrities such as female media mogul and billionaire, Oprah Winfrey, Mexican-born actress and “Twelve Years A Slave” star, Lupita Nyong’o as well as Kelly Rowland, Golden Globe winner Uzo Aduba, Carmen Ejogo who starred in Selma, Danielle Brooks, Adrienne Moore, Samira Wiley, Lorraine Toussaint, Shonda Rhimes, Regina King, Holly Robinson Peete, Jurnee Smollett Bell, Garcelle Beauvais and Tracee Ellis Ross.
