    Comrade Sunny Ofehe, an Environmental Activist, is to appear in court on Monday in Rotterdam. This is as a result of his arrest in February 2011 in his house in Rotterdam. Mr Sunny Ofehe is suspected of being involved in attacks on oil pipelines in the oil-rich region of Nigeria (Niger Delta).

    The charges range from human trafficking to fraud. The court hearing was held today 5th of September 2011 at 14:30, in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

    Mr Ofehe is the President and Founder of Hope for Niger Delta Campaign (HNDC). It is a major voice in the Netherlands against environmental ruins in the Niger Delta.
