US Arraigns Nigerian Nurse for Caressing Unconscious Patient
    Folajuwani Ajayi

Folajuwani Ajayi, former Wishard nursing assistant originally from Nigeria suspected of caressing a patient and capturing it on video tape appeared in an Indianapolis court on Tuesday. The judge appointed a public defender and entered a “not guilty” plea on his behalf of the Nigerian nurse.

However, the police said the evidence against Folajuwani Ajayi pointed to guilt. His immigration status, though, could help him avoid jail term.

Ajayi, the Nigerian nurse is scheduled to face trial for one felony and two misdemeanor charges on April 2.

Nevertheless, court documents pointed out that while working at Wishard Memorial Hospital, the certified nursing assistant caressed an unconscious inmate being treated in the hospital’s detention area and capture it on video.

According to the probable cause affidavit, Ajayi’s cell phone video showed “a black male remove the clothing material around the female patient” and fondled her genital area.

Police said a fumbling Nigerian nurse (Ajayi) mistakenly video-taped his Wishard-issued ID card that hung around his neck. The court document said the video showed Ajayi’s name and the title care tech.

According to Eric Schmadeke, Marion County deputy prosecutor, “It’s always disturbing when someone in a position of trust violates that trust.”

Ajayi holds resident alien status. Police and prosecutors have alerted Immigration and Customs Enforcement leaders.

However, Schmadeke said investigation was fundamentally commencing.

There were 40,000 pictures and 17 videos on Ajayi’s cell phone. Investigators are trying to identify and locate every woman in the image in order to interview them. As soon as they do, Ajayi could face many more charges.

As it is, the saga on gay marriage is no where close to an end! The Archbishop of York has been sent several ‘abusive and threatening’ racist emails after speaking out against gay marriage. The malicious messages to Dr John Sentamu have prompted a police investigation, it was revealed yesterday.

In an interview last month, the senior Church of England cleric said that marriage must remain a union between a man and a woman. He argued that the Prime Minister would be acting like a ‘dictator’ if he allowed homosexuals to wed, rather than just have civil partnerships as is the case at present.

Yesterday a spokesman for Ugandan-born Dr Sentamu said the Archbishop received a ‘large quantity’ of correspondence following the interview, adding: ‘Amongst many positive emails that he has received, there have been a small number of abusive and threatening emails of a racist nature which North Yorkshire Police are investigating as hate crimes.’

In the interview Dr Sentamu said: ‘Marriage is a relationship between a man and a woman. I don’t think it is the role of the state to define what marriage is. It is set in tradition and history and you can’t just [change it] overnight, no matter how powerful you are. ‘We’ve seen dictators do it in different contexts and I don’t want to redefine very clear social structures that have been in existence for a long time and then overnight the state believes it could go in a particular way.’

The Government will open a consultation on the issue of same-sex marriages next month. Dr Sentamu said bishops in the House of Lords had not tried to stop civil partnership laws introduced by the previous Labour government, but predicted widespread opposition to plans to legalise gay marriage.

‘The rebellion is going to come not only from the bishops,’ he said. ‘You’re going to get it from across the benches and in the Commons. ‘If you genuinely would like the registration of civil partnerships to happen in a more general way, most people will say they can see the drift. But if you begin to call those “marriage”, you’re trying to change the English language.

‘That does not mean you diminish, condemn, criticise, patronise any same-sex relationships because that is not what the debate is about.’

Last week, while Dr Sentamu was abroad, about 70 protesters staged a demonstration outside York Minster, the cathedral where he serves. They denounced Dr Sentamu’s comments and accused him of homophobia.
The University of York’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) group, which organised the demonstration, said Dr Sentamu was opposing equality.

A spokesman for North Yorkshire Police said of the emails: ‘We can confirm that a complaint has been received from the office of Archbishop John Sentamu, following the receipt of emails containing racially offensive statements.

‘The emails are being investigated as a hate crime.’

British Woman Caught on Video Hurling Racial Abuses on Tube Passengers
Police in London are investigating yet another video of a London Underground passenger hurling racist abuse at foreign passengers.

The film shows the middle-aged white woman direct a tirade of abuse at Asian passengers on a Central Line train between St Paul’s and Mile End stations. She begins by shouting ‘all f****** foreign s********’ in a shocking seven minute long expletive-ridden rant in front of stunned onlookers.

The woman – with shoulder-length black hair and a thick Cockney accent – then asks ‘where do you come from? F****** like, f****** all over the world’.

Footage of the incident emerged on YouTube on January 24 after a string of similar rants by women were made public last year. It is believed to have been filmed on January 23. It shows the woman, whose name is not known, sitting between two Pakistani men After saying that they come from all over the world, she asks: ‘I’d like to know if any of you are f****** illegal, I’m sure 30 per cent of you are. The woman then becomes aggressive towards the Asian man sitting next to her. ‘I hope they f****** catch up with you and shove you off,’ she says.

She adds: ‘I shall punch you in the f****** face. Ninety per cent of you are f****** illegal.
I wouldn’t mind if you loved our country.’
After singing in his language, he defends his native country as other passengers on the carriage laugh at his gestures.

The woman then turns her attention to the man who is filming the abuse on his mobile phone, who says he is British. He tells her to ‘watch what you say’ but she responds: ‘I used to live in England now I live in the United Nations. ‘The woman then appears to become increasingly aggressive in an argument that lasts for another four minutes.

At one point she appears to try to attack the Pakistani man before she is thrown into a seat on the other side of the train. She gets up and screams: ‘As long as you’re f****** working, and not claiming benefits.’
