The last music video of Nigerian music artist, Goldie Harvey has been released. The song, titled give it to me features J Martins. It was produced by Kennis Music, the label that managed her before her death.
The video to Give It To Me, was shot a few weeks before her death. Goldie was at last year’s Grammys Award. She died the same day she arrived Lagos, Nigeria. Check out the video below.
American singer and former Destiny’s Child group member, Kelly Rowland and her fiance/manager, Tim Witherspoon are spending their holiday in Nigeria. The artist, whose 33rd birthday was celebrated by Beyonce a few days ago, arrived Lagos yesterday evening. Ms Kelly is scheduled to perform at Dare Art Alade’s Love Like A Movie concert that will be taking place tomorrow.
Last year, the first edition of Dare Art Alade’s Love Like A Movie concert was hosted by American reality TV star, Kim Kardashian. Kim’s attendance drew a lot of negative attention from the Nigerian media as many were not happy with her brief appearance.

American singer and international star, Mary J. Blige was one of the artists that performed on stage during the entertainment portion of the State Dinner for French President Francois Hollande. The event took place on Tuesday the 11th February 2014 at the White House in Washington DC.

American First Lady, Michelle Obama wore this stunning Carolina Herrera gown to the white house state dinner that was organised to honour President Francois Hollande of France. The event took place on Tuesday night, February 11th. Michelle’s black and blue dress, designed by a Venezuelan-American designer, Carolina Herrera – is said to worth a whopping $12,000.
According to Susan Swimmer, author of Michelle Obama: First Lady of Fashion and Style, Michelle’s dress reflected French aesthetics, from the intricate beaded black bodice to the train and full skirt in a colour known as liberty blue.
“From the White House to Versailles it’s not that far,’ said Susan. ‘It’s much more keeping in a French aesthetic than I’ve seen her wear before. It’s very French in terms of how ornate it is and the use of lace and the velvet sash.”

As part of the Africa Fashion Week London, Reuben P. Joseph will collaborate with Yaa Asantewaa Arts to present, “L’ art de La Mode: Spirit of Africa, Asia and the Caribbean”. It is a two days event of extravaganza that will be celebrating breath-taking designs from the UK, Africa, Asia and the Caribbean.
Renowned catwalk choreographer, BEFFTA award winner (Best Art Director) and London Fashion Week expert, Reuben P. Joseph, brings to you this unique combination of art and fashion. South Sudanese-American model, Ataui Deng walks the runway at Desigual fashion show during the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Fall 2014 edition that recently ended. The fashion event took place at the Theatre at Lincoln Center on February 6, 2014, in New York City.
Ataui Deng is the niece of South Sudanese British model, Alek Wek. After strutting the runway in different floral dresses for Desigual, the black model was also seen holding a heart shaped board that read “Thanks from the Designers”. See more photos of Ataui Deng on the runway.
