The Mahogany African Caribbean Bridal Show 2012

Europe’s longest established show for African Caribbean brides; grooms and family members triumphed again on its 15th year running on the 21st October at its new location, City of Westminster College in the West End in London. The well-recognised African Caribbean Bridal Show attracted hundreds of guests from across Europe who attended to view displays from exhibitors such as IPREGI Jewellery, Diva’s Addictions, Cottons Restaurant, Absolut Events and much more. Exhibitors included everything needed for a Bride and Groom on that one special day; from chocolate and champagne fountains to cake decorators, wedding planners and bridal wear to name a few.

“I PREGI brings beautiful handmade and bespoke jewellery sourced from Valenza Po, Northern Italy. This is our first time exhibiting at Mahogany Bridal Show and it has been a very enjoyable experience with a great turn out of attendees” Vanessa Bassan I PREGI

Renowned for its international bridal fashion shows, Sundays line up of international designers was yet again another phenomenal line up which included award-winning special guest Morris Roots, Plus Size designer Kemi Farquharson of Kemi Boutique and Hungarian designer Reka Orosz.

The runway showcased couture bridal collections ranging from traditional to bohemian. With a selection of bridal gowns, evening dresses, exquisite hats and menswear from designers; KGTTGT, LinmiR, Reka Orosz and Kemi Boutique there was something for everyone on the night.

Kemi Boutique was a name to remember, her distinctively stunning plus size bridal gowns graced the runway with collection pieces in sizes 12 through to 18 “as a plus-size designer it is always a pleasure to showcase amongst tradition sized models as it emphasises the beauty of a woman with curves”.
