    0

Nigerian-born British actor David Oyelowo is heading for the top and maybe the male version of Lupita Nyong’o, who became an American sweetheart last year after her supporting role in “12 Years A Slave”.

Last week, Brad Pitt was seen in a video singing his surname “OYELOWO” as he introduced him to an audience at the Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala that took place last Saturday.

Now the Breakthrough Performance Award-winner is sharing a magazine cover with media mogul and legendary talk show host Oprah Winfrey, and the film’s director, Ava DuVernay (left).

The two stars, Lupita and David, will star in the film adaptation of Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s most recent novel, ‘Americanah’.

    0

People in France and around the world mourned Charlie Hebdo victims that were murdered mercilessly by two terrorist brother who are still on the run. The Kouachi brothers, Cherif and Said are French citizens who were trained in Yemen on how to assassinate people.

They ended up killing 12 people and leaving 10 others injured after gaining access to the French satirical magazine’s office where the staff were having an editorial meeting. Among their victims were two police officers.

“France has been struck directly in the heart of its capital, in a place where the spirit of liberty — and thus of resistance — breathed freely,” French President François Hollande said about the heartless attack that rocked Paris and sent the city in terror.

Sometimes The More You Do For People, The More They Think They’re Entitled To

    0

    nicki-minaj-apoligizes-forgives

After first posting an image that says she apologize to those she hurt this year and she forgive those who hurt her this year on Instagram, Nicki Minaj went on to share her thoughts on forgiveness and finding peace. She also wrote about how the more you help people, they more they start thinking it’s their entitlement instead of a privilege.

    Read her text below.

You can’t find happiness with bitterness, hate and unforgiveness in your heart. You owe it to yourself to find real peace. Why do ppl feel they have to be “ok” all the time? Its ok to NOT be ok. You’re human. I hate seeing people be tormented and on the verge of going crazy because of their pride and their ego and because they made a bed they never thought they’d have to lay in.

If you were on your death bed tomorrow, none of the ppl you do all this fronting for would be there. You can’t try to hurt a person who’s heart is right and who showed you the meaning of loyalty. Its better that you do some soul searching and live in GRATITUDE. Realize how blessed you were and learn from your mistakes.

Sometimes the more you do for ppl, the more they think they’re entitled to! Just fall back and ask God to show them the truth. Once you have forgiven and learned how to find true peace, the most you can do is wish the next person well and pray that they too will find the same thing. I’m hoping that 2015 will be a year we choose real happiness over the fake made up stuff we think people want to see. Every night, the lights and cameras stop flashing and there you are. its just YOU. Laying there. Facing the music. Cherish these nights. Cherish these ppl. Life is a movie, but there’ll never be a sequel. And if you didn’t cherish them in time, own that. Hope you feel better.

TRAVEL: South Africa For Everyone! 5 Reasons It Should Be Your Next Holiday Destination

    0

Whatever it is you want from a vacation, South Africa has it. The Rainbow Nation offers everything from adrenaline rushes for thrill-seekers to astonishing wildlife for nature lovers; fabulous food, music and nightlife for party animals, and dramatic, unforgettable landscapes for hikers and photographers. It’s no wonder that, in the last couple of years, the country has become one of the most popular destinations on the planet. Let’s take a look at some of those highlights…

    All-In-One: Sun City

The difficult part of visiting SA, if you have limited time (and who doesn’t?) is choosing what you want to see. The Sun City resort in the North West Province is a good choice for families, with plenty to occupy both kids and grown-ups. As well as excellent pool facilities, there are golf courses, stage shows and safari options as well as some of the country’s leading casinos. The gambling facilities range from the ever-popular slots to exclusive tables for high rollers. If family commitments don’t leave you with time to hang out in the casinos, you can use the resort’s Wi-Fi to play a few hands on your phone while you relax by the pool.

    Thrill-Seekers

For those with energy to burn, SA offers everything from deep-sea diving to abseiling. There are several locations where you can go white-water rafting, including the Western Cape’s Doring River, which during the winter months is a fast-flowing ride through fantastic mountain landscapes. For less experienced rafters, the Orange River is a good choice, with gentler waters and great bird-watching.

    Eating

There’s excellent dining all over the country, and Cape Town offers cuisine both local and international. Most regions have their own specialities; Durban, for example, is known for its Indian influences. At the Jaipur Palace restaurant on Waterkant Road, you can choose a tempting buffet that includes local crab-based dishes as well as Durban’s very own Bunny Chow; a loaf of bread with the inside scooped out and filled with curry!

    Wildlife

Safari options in the country are superb. Kruger National Park is SA’s most visited reserve, covering around 7,500 square miles in the north-east. The park is home to over 5,000 giraffes and 3,000 hippos, as well as zebras, lions and both black and white rhinos. There are over 20 camps, so if you want to bring the cost of your visit down, bring a tent!

    Cape Town & Wine Regions

Finally, for a more relaxed trip, try combining a visit to the wine growing regions with a stay in Cape Town. A boat trip from the city to Robben Island is an unforgettable way to see how Nelson Mandela was forced to live for 18 years; it’s also an extraordinary place from which to view Table Mountain. The wine regions extend all around the city, with Stellenbosch perhaps the most famous, but lesser-known areas like Tulbagh are also well worth visiting – and surprisingly inexpensive.

Faces Of The Two Brothers Who Terrorized Paris Yesterday

The faces of two brothers who terrorized Paris yesterday and killed 12 people leaving 10 others injured has been revealed by the French Police.

Brothers, Cherif Kouachi (left), 32, and Said Kouachi (right), 34, are French citizens who are from Paris. But the two brothers are said to have traveled to Yemen where they were trained as assassins.

Speaking about how the terrorist are French citizens but hate the French people so much and would not mind terrorizing them, Nigel Farage, UKIP’s leader told Channel 4 News: “There is a very strong argument that says that what happened in Paris today is a result – and we’ve seen it in London too – is a result I’m afraid of now having a fifth column living within these countries.

“We’ve got people living in these countries, holding our passports, who hate us. “Luckily their numbers are very, very small but it does make one question the whole really gross attempt at encouraged division within society that we have had in the past few decades in the name of multiculturalism.”

While both brothers are still at large, a third suspect that did not fire any shot at yesterday’s massacre has surrendered himself to the police. The younger suspect, who has been identified as 18 year old Hamyd Mourad surrendered to the police after seeing his name circulate on social media.

Speaking with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, Christophe Lecourtier – France’s Ambassador to Australia said: “They have been tracked,” he said. “We know more or less where they might be. And I really hope that in the coming hours the French police will be able to arrest them and bring them to justice.”

“France is in a state of shock after this terrorist attack,” said President Francois Hollande. “An act of exceptional barbarity has been perpetrated against a newspaper, against liberty of expression, against journalists.”

Rita Ora’s Boobs Spark Outrage Among BBC Viewers

About 400 people have laid their complaints and dissatisfaction to the BBC as they consider Rita Ora’s outfit to the BBC’s The One Show ‘inappropriate’ for a family program.

‘Isn’t it about the time BBC had a dress code?’ one irate viewer asked on the Points Of View website.

‘I do not want to see her boobs hanging out on a family programme. I find it quite disgraceful.’

Another added: ‘I am no prude but found it totally inappropriate’.

Over 400 others have so far complained forcing The BBC to issue an apology. They said; “If we had been consulted we would have requested she wore something more suitable for 7pm.

Commenting on the complaints, the BBC said: “The One Show allows guests to choose their own attire and pop stars often opt for something glamorous or striking.
‘We didn’t feel that Rita’s outfit would be outside of most viewers’ expectations of that of a major pop star, but we appreciate that tastes vary.”
