While we mourn, it is also important to celebrate Steve Jobs achievement and the way he has positively touched the lives of people all over the world. He was that man that loves to do things differently. The man that every gadget he touched was an instant success. He had his bad moments and times of failures, but he never let them define who he was. He kept on moving, trying and bringing out the best in him.

So, as we mourn him, let us also celebrate the inspiration he has left with us. His works and his moving speeches that he has left behind for us to have that yes we can attitude. Remember, you can achieve almost anything if you set your mind into it. Be passionate about it. Be dedicated to it. Give it your best shot. And tell yourself, you can do it.

The world stood still, a hero is gone, an era has gone. As I sit to ponder about the sudden death of the great icon of our time, the only question that keeps running through my mind is, WHAT WILL APPLE BE WITHOUT Steve? Steve Jobs the CEO of Apple, revolutionised technology as he brought to us the iPhones, the iPads,the Macs and the iPods

Apple products are gadgets that many have come to fall in love with and cherish. They are gadgets that people associate with quality, class, glamour and that great experience of satisfaction among its users.

Adieu Steve, you have made a difference to the world within the last twenty years. The world will miss you so much. You were not only a genius. You were a great inspirational speaker. Your speeches have changed the lives of many, especially those who thought they had nothing to look unto.

Adieu dear Steve, even though you are gone. You will always be around. You have left a footprint that no one could erase. You will continue to change lives even after you are gone. Death has succeeded in taking you away, but it cannot take away what you have left behind.

In the midst of all this, my question still remains, oh apple, where art thou without Steve? As there seems to be no answer, I guess we will all have to wait and see.

May your gentle soul rest in peace. In addition, I pray that your friends and family have the strength to deal with your loss. Goodbye, Steve.

Hello peeps, today I want to talk about 7 reasons why you should be ironing your clothes. There are some people who just wash their clothes and put them on like that or just fold them and put them in the wardrobe for wearing later. this is not the ideal way to take care of your clothes and you will see why below.

Ironing Your Clothes Kills The Germs In THem

In case you do not know this, our clothes can hold on to some very resistant germs like thermophilic bacteria and fungi, even after washing them at the highest temperature. Also, if you leave the clothes outside to dry, there is also the possibility that some bacteria and bugs can get stuck on them and start multiplying there. Using a very hot iron to press them will help kill any germs that are still lingering in your outfit and make it really clean and fresh for you to wear. Yes, the steam from the iron kills gems and eliminate moulds that have gathered in your piece of clothing.

To Give Your Clothes A Better And Fresher Look

Have you taken the time to compare two identical outfits in which one was iron the other one was not? If you have not, I will get straight to the point, they are simply miles apart. In fact, depending on how squeezed the fabric can be, the ironed one will look new and sophisticated, while the unironed one will look like a piece of rag that no manager would like to be caught in.

Ironing Helps With Unshrinking Your Clothes

There are some fabrics that shrink once you wash them or even just by getting in contact with water. When they shrink, the clothes become smaller and needs ironing to unshrink them and allow them to come back to their original size. When undergoing this process, please make sure that you read the label and follow the manufacturer’s instructions on her to care for such clothes or fabric.

Ironing Clothes Removes Any Bad Smell

Sometimes, even after washing your clothes, they may have some bad smell that you do not want to hang around you when you are dressed up. However, if you iron your clothes, the uncomfortable smell will go away and your clothes look fresh and radiant. If you intend to enhance the smell of your clothes, you can use those scented ironing water to give your washed clothes a fresher smell.

Believe it or nor ironing your clothes or not ironing them could affect the way people perceive your person to be. Especially in professional settings, people who iron their clothes can be seen as closed, organised and know what they are doing. On the other hand, people who go to work with rumpled clothes can be seen as unprofessional and disorganised. Imagine showing up for an interview with rumpled clothes? My guess is as good as yours.

If all the other point above do no appeal to you, this one will surely do. In case you do not know, ironing your clothes protects them and make them last longer. For example, ironing protects the linings on your clothes and seals the fabric. As a result, your clothes become more resistant to weather conditions and damages due to general wear and tear.

Relaxation

Believe it or not, you can actually relax your brain while ironing your clothes. Most people listen to music or watch TV while doing this exercise. There are other people who use the time to make calls to their loved ones while pressing away.

Women for Africa presents ‘The Women For Africa Awards UK 2012’. For the 1st time ever! Women from Africa will be celebrated in London, at the first ever Women for Africa awards 2012. Women for Africa is open to those who want to join us as we celebrate some of Africa’s unsung heroines.

Nominations are now open for UK-based women of African origin to be nominated in one of the twenty-one categories with two categories opened up to non-UK-based African women. It will seek to honour and celebrate a number of women who deserve to be recognised and celebrated.
