Congratulations!!! You Are Planning Your Wedding Budget

First thing, call everyone and announce the news, you must be brimming with excitement. You are in the clouds…. Do we really want to talk about money? No! But we must, but not now, enjoy being engaged. Enjoy your moments in the limelight and relish the romantic spells, wondering how you are going to feel and look on your big day!!!!!!

Then, it suddenly dawns, Money! Take your time; start with the basics, what type of wedding have you dreamt of? How many people have you envisioned will be at your wedding? Will you be happy with a gathering of 10, 20, 30 people at a garden villa in Spain or will you consider taking it easy and enjoying the day with a few family members and friends. If you are going to be saving from the moment of your engagement or maybe it’s a tight budget. Having a Sunday Brunch at the beach, Friday or Saturday night simply desserts reception or an immaculate destination wedding?

Wait a minute! You want a grand Maggie Sottero wedding gown or Hawaiian wedding/honeymoon with 200 to 300 guests in attendance. Before you go on a whirlwind adventure planning a once in a lifetime route to bankruptcy. Please, Breathe! Yes, Breathe….

Let’s begin again, figure out who can help financially with your wedding plans. Have a talk with family members about who is paying for what and what they can offer, it may not be in cash but who knows, a family member may know someone who works at a car rental and can get a discount. Maybe your favourite aunt can bake your wonderful wedding cake as a gift. Friends can contribute to your flowers or music on the day, open your options.

ALSO SEE: Meet The Designer: Exclusive Interview With Kemi Farquharson.

If it is just you and your soon to be wife/husband taking care of expenses, then it makes sense to still have that talk and work what aspect of the wedding you are most likely to spend a higher than average amount on. For instance, some people spend more than average on the photographer, because they want quality photos and they feel it will last a lifetime. For some, it will be on their honeymoon.

Now how much do you have in the kitty? Do you need to plan for a longer period of time to save enough? Are you willing to consider taking out a loan? Will go to the bank or will you look of other alternatives? If you can’t get a loan, will you reduce the amount you need for the wedding? Are you saving on costs or splurging? What areas will you consider saving on and what areas will you splurge on? Where are you willing to accommodate your soon to be husband/wife’s wants? Too many questions? Depending on how many people are sitting with you to discuss finances, every member of the “Board Group” will be voicing an opinion on how their money will be spent.

You may want the wedding venue; others may want all the family members they have not seen in decades to attend. The average wedding these days can go between 15,000 to 25,000 Euros depending on the individuals. Some weddings have been organized for much less and have turned out to be simply divine. Some have had the makings of a huge budget and significant high-stress levels but the fact still remains that 2 people have found love. It may or may not be witnessed by family and friends but vows will be exchanged and celebrated.

It is always advisable to budget on how to manage your wedding costs, it’s very important that you pick the essential things which neither of you wants to compromise on so that you can identify other areas where you’re willing to save money. It can be on any of the expenses areas of the wedding budget, like how many people will be attending, venue, flowers, accessories etc. You will need to assign budget percentages using a scale of priorities, so budget wisely. Wherever you can create, like with the cake or invitations, do so or simply ask for help from friends and family. Meanwhile enjoy the ride and reduce as much costs where feasible, but most importantly enjoy the romantic spells associated with it.

Two Nigerians in the UK have been found guilty of human trafficking and prostitution. The two convicted individuals are a couple and are alleged to have trafficked two women from Nigeria to the United Kingdom and forced them to go into prostitution.

The two women, aged 23 and 29 were made to undergone an African ritual that involved the eating of snakes. The women were made to believe that the voodoo ritual oath they took will hunt them and make them face ‘illness, madness, infertility or even death if they didn’t prostitute and give all the money to their traffickers. So far, the two women have paid about £70,000 to Lizzy Idahosa and husband Jackson Omoruyi who have been pimping them.

When the victims were trafficked from Nigerian to the UK, they believed they were going to Britain for a better life according to their sponsors. But they were shocked to realize they have to prostitute in several brothels and massage parlours around the UK.

The jury was told how the African black magic was a tactic to scare the victims and make them do whatever was required of them by their traffickers. As part of the voodoo rituals that was conducted by a witch-doctor, the victims pubic hair were shaved. They were then forced to eat live snakes and snails.

Lizzy Idahosa who runs the trafficking and prostitution network with her husband is currently pregnant. The 24-year-old expectant mother was found guilty of eight counts including trafficking, inciting women to be prostitutes and transferring criminal property. Lizzy’s husband, Omoruyi who is 41 was convicted of two counts of money laundering.

Even though the Nigerian couple have been accused of trafficking the two women and forcing them into prostitution, Idahosa and Omoruyi who were arrested in their London residence denied ever doing any wrong to the women.

Lizzy Idahosa then said she was also trafficked to the UK to prostitute and therefore will never do that to another woman. And according to her, she never knew the other two women were trafficked to prostitute in the UK until she told them about her own story.

But the couple’s financial information told a different story. When investigating officers checked Idahosa and Omoruyi’s bank account, they found a series of transfers were made to them with Omoruyi acting as a ‘financial middle man’.

Are .Com Domain Names Really the Best?

    0

When you go to register a domain name, you are presented with a lot of various options to choose from, such as .com – the most popular – and .net. There are also various types that can be used by certain groups, such as .gov domain names or names ending in .edu. As mentioned, however, .com names remain the most popular in the United States by a wide margin. Are they really the best, or should you be looking in a different direction if you are interested in private domain registration services?

For the most part, they truly are the best. For one thing, they can be used in almost any industry or any niche. No matter what type of site you want to run – maybe it is for your business, maybe it is for your personal blog, or maybe you want to start an online community – you can choose this ending, and it will fit. This versatility also allows your site to grow and change without your feeling like you need to register a brand new name.

Of course, the fact that they are the most popular also plays into your favor. This is the ending that people expect to see, that they will be most likely to search for if they include a URL in their search. In many ways, it is also the type of site that they are most likely to click on if it shows up in the search results. They are used to seeing it and they trust it. This can be big when it comes to getting those initial hits.

There are some ways in which other endings can be used. Some people have used them in a creative fashion, making the ending part of the name, as if the entire URL was one word. If your company has a name that ends with the right two or three letters, you could consider doing this. The big upside is that doing so is both interesting and memorable. That can help you with hits.

To some degree, though, doing that is a bit tacky, and it can be seen as a cheap trick to get views. If you go with a .com URL, you don’t run into any of this negativity. You give people what they want and what they expect, you don’t encounter any stipulations about what your site has to be like, and the domain names are easy to find.
