Our today’s outfit of the day is Akosua’s ankara wrap dress worn with socks and heels. The Ghanaian fashion blogger rocked the colourful and bold prints with pink pump shoes featuring black fishnet socks with a zip on the back.

Fashion is a personal style. While some like to keep it as simple as possible, there are some that like to push the boundaries to look unique and stand out. In today’s outfit of the day, we’re sharing Akosua Vee’s ankara wrap dress worn with socks and heels.

If you haven’t noticed, socks are heels are in vogue at the moment. From pumps with socks to different heights of boots with socks, the choices are many. And in this outfit, Akosua Vee is rocking her ankara wrap dress with socks and heels.

The above the knee midi wrap dress is fastened with a belt in the middle. This dress can also be worn as a jacket.

Our outfit of the day is a red vintage dress that Akosua Vee wore in one of her fashion blog posts. If you do not know, vintage fashion can be very chic and classy if you know how to pick the right pieces and put them together. There are a lot of shops out there that sells original vintage clothes that you can buy from. Just don’t think they are cheap because they are used. Most shops that sell quality retro clothes are pricey. And the clothes are usually designed with quality materials and also in good shape.

Apart from buying your vintage clothes from a retro shop, you can also make your own vintage clothes. You just need to check out pieces from the era and style that you would like to recreate, get the right fabric, then go to your designer to make it for you. That is what Akosua Vee did. According to her, the vintage red dress she is wearing in this post was designed by her aunt (Serash clothing).

Akosua Vee wore the midi red dress with a pair of black and red high heeled shoes. She covered her legs with a pair of black fishnet tights.

The Ghanaian fashion blogger’s hair that was styled into a bob was accessorised with a black fascinator made by Anna Bonita.
