Twenty-two year old Ezinne Akudo emerge as Miss Nigeria 2013. The event took place at the prestigious Intercontinental Hotel, Victoria Island on Saturday July 7, 2013.
Anyaoha Ezinne Akudo was in the race with 33 other girls and ended up as the winner of the 38th edition of the Miss Nigeria pageant event.
The Law graduate of Abia State University was crowned by 82-year-old Grace Atinuke Oyelude who was Miss Nigeria 1957.
Nollywood actress, Chika Ike is looking fab in these new photos with her short hair. The photos are for a photo shoot with Fun & Fashion magazine. The actress shaved her hair a few months ago when she was paid the sum of ₦5 Million to play a widow in a Nollywood movie.
Brigite da Conceição Francisco dos Santos is an Angolan model. She was born in Luanda (formerly known as São Paulo da Assunção de Loanda) the capital and largest city in Angola on October 5, 1989.
In 2008, she contested at Miss World Angola and emerged as the winner. She went on to represent Angola at the Miss World 2008 beauty pageant that took place in Johannesburg on December 13, 2008.
Even though she did not win the competition, she was among the top 5 finalists, and was subsequently awarded the title, Miss World Africa Continental Queen of Beauty.
Miss Santos is the youngest in a family of nine. She is the only female child and has eight brothers. Her motto is, “life is short, so enjoy every moment.”
During the 2008 Miss World competition, this was her message to her fellow contestants, “It is a special moment and great life experience. So, enjoy this wonderful pageant but we should not forget that we can use this great opportunity to help the people in need.”
According to the Facebook profile of the African model, her best moment was “When I was elected the fourth most beautiful woman in the world.” She also added that she loves swimming, listening to music, reading, watching movies and being with friends.

Top Nollywood actress, Genevieve Nnaji wore this stunning see-through outfit to the launch of Mo Abudu’s Ebony Life TV that took place on on June 30, 2013, at Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos, Nigeria. Genevieve’s stunning see-through blue lace outfit was created by Deola Sagoe.

The 27-year-old British-born Nigerian actress won the Most Promising Talent category at 2010 Best Of Nollywood Awards. The actress, who also won the award for the Fast Rising Actress at the 2011 City People Entertainment Awards styled her hair into an updo bun and showed off her dress while posing for photos.

As Mo Abudu made history with the launch of Ebony Life TV at Eko Hotel on Sunday, 30 June 2013, red carpet host Toke Makinwa, rapper Muna Abii and up and coming actress Monalisa Omorodion were photographed looking elegant in three different black dresses by Elegante by Tiannahstyling.
While Muna put the best foot forward in an asymmetric cut black dress with a thigh-high split down the front – and a low cut back (shame you don’t get to see the back view!) – and adorned with chic embellishments on the waistline and round the neckline, Toke Makinwa played peek-a-boo with just the right amount of flesh covered in sheer lace and a teasing plunging neckline.
Monalisa looked equally radiant in a flattering fishtail cut that brought the best of sheer and sequins to create a dazzling silhouette. Monalisa also trusted her locks to the care of Tiannahsplace while Muna sported a brand new do also courtesy of Tiannahsplace.

On Saturday June 29 2013, the city of The Hague hosted the 5th edition of the biggest African festival in the Netherlands, “The Hague African Festival.” The Hague African Festival provided an avenue for Africans and the people of The Hague to enjoy and appreciate African arts and Music. The event showcased an array of artistes from across Europe and Africa. The Spuiplein stage saw artistes like Ziggi Ricado, Kodjo Kriori, DJ Erick Gava, Maryan Mursal, and Ebou Gaye Mada who also performed at The Hague African Festival 2012.
The atmosphere at the event was electrifying. The audience were in a high spirit dancing away on a beautiful sunny Saturday. Among other great performances was the thrilling act given by Ziggi Recado. He took the audience through many deep and refreshing Reggae tunes.
What else could a person wish for after eating African good food? Good and free drinks, good weather and Great music!

Check out Dencia at BET Awards. Above are photos of the American based Cameroonian singer, Dencia at the 2013 edition of BET Awards that was held in Los Angeles.
