Makosi Shows Off Amazing Weight Loss And Transformation

TV presenter and former Big Brother UK star originally from Zimbabwe, Makosi Musambasi has lost a great deal of weight and is proud to show it off.

The UK registered cardiac nurse, who worked in a coronary care unit started showing off the benefits of her amazing weight loss this weekend.

Makosi, who was deported to Nigeria on 10 February 2012 has been posting photos of her dramatic weight-loss to her Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter pages to motivate other women to take up exercise and a healthy diet so they can be a lot happier with their bodies.

On how obsessed she was with the changes that were going on in the beginning as well as her happiness, she wrote: “At the beginning of my fitness journey I weighed myself a lot…now I don’t. I simply eat really well and try running 6-10km every single day. I was happier before however, I’m happiest now. If I can do it so can you.”

Makosi who occasionally give her followers – tips on losing weight through her social network wrote: “You don’t lose weight in the gym, you lose it during breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you are eating unhealthy, the gym can’t do much for you.”

Makosi now has her own TV show “Makosi Today” broadcast on the Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation (ZBC). It’s also being screened on DSTV 191, GoTV 16 and in the UK on Vox Africa (Sky 218).

Chris Brown unveiled another crazy hair colour and everyone has been talking about it. The 26-year-old singer who had been sporting a bright blond hair colour for a while now unveiled his rainbow coloured hair two days ago. Bazaar Magazine May Issue: Kendall Jenner Strutting Her Way To Supermodel Status

Reality TV star and model, Kendall Jenner is gradually strutting her way into a supermodel. With 31 shows, an Estee Lauder campaign, and, a second shoot with Karl Lagerfeld, the younger sister to Kim Kardashian is showing no sign of taking it slowly and certainly hard to keep up with.

In this latest shoot for Bazaar Magazine May 2015 issue, the 19-year-old model look every bit a supermodel. The photo-shoot was done by with Karl Lagerfeld. The interview for the editorial was conducted by Laura Brown, while her styling was by Amanda Harlech.

On her modelling career, Jenner said: “”I started this hoping that it would have longevity. I didn’t come into this thinking it’s going to be a fun thing that I’m going to do on the side.”

“It’s something I want to do my whole life. It’s a career, so I needed to be gentle with it. We had to pick and choose things very specifically.”

Speaking about her famous elder sister, the reality star turned model said: “I really admire Kim’s style. It’s insane. She really knows how to work her style with her body. I think she could be a major fashion icon. It’s so fun to be in Paris with her, but I’ll walk out and be like, “Oh, my God, I love my outfit,” and then I’ll see Kim and I’ll be like, “My outfit sucks compared to yours!”

Kim and Khloe Kardashian who are currently in Armenia to celebrate 100 years of the Armenia Genocide took a tour around the country. The girls, whose late Patriarch, Robert Kardashian is originally from Armenia, travelled to the country with Kim’s husband, Kanye West and daughter, North West.

The girls went on a tour today in the Armenian capital of Yerevan and were accompanied by the Armenian police for protection. The “Keeping Up With The Kardashian’s” reality TV sister’s were followed by a massive crowd that could not get enough of them.

Reality TV sister, Kim and Khloe Kardashian were the special guest that met with Hovik Abrahamyan, the Prime Minister of Armenian as the family visit their father’s country to celebrate the centennial anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. Also present at the meeting that took place this afternoon were members of the prime minister’s cabinet.

Prime Minister Abrahamyan thanked the girls for staying in touch with their Armenian roots and remembering the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. In turn, the sisters thanked the him and promised to learn the Armenian language.

The Kardashian-Jenner family and Kanyes West all visited the country where little North West was photograph showing off her curly hair.

wearing a weave and earrings, a closer look at the photo shows a lady behind him is the one actually wearing them. However, a lucky photographer was at the right place at the right time to capture the very creative and iconic image that makes it look like Mugabe was wearing weaves and earrings.

Mugabe, is alleged to be prepping up his 24-year-old daughter to take over the affairs of the country from him when he leaves office.

On the 29th March, Born To Model TV (BTMTV) launched its first ever lavish runway show and party in the amazing Bar & Co at Temple Pier. The setting was beside a stunning view of the River Thames with the beautiful night lights overlooking the horizon. AfroCosmopolitan was welcomed into the launch party by the lovely CEO Leo and management team who organised the entire launch party and BTM reality TV series.

The boat was slightly rocking back and forth by the strong wind of that evening. But that did not hinder the amazing vibe and guest appearances of musicians such as Ayo Jordan and girl group Pretty Noise. Our lovely host for the night was Radio presenter Yinka Bokinni.

8 models, 1 house, 1 week, 1 winner – The battle is on.

So what is Born to model all about? I hear you wondering! Born To Model TV is a reality series on the search for the next model who was of course – Born to model! The competition targets women of the African, Caribbean, Hispanic, Asian and Oriental ethnicity aged 18-35 who want to break into the mainstream fashion and modelling world.

Presented by Lauren Cofie, the winner of the competition will win a trip to a European country, a modelling contract and a feature in Women’s UK lifestyle magazine ‘AMOR’. All 8 of the models will be living together in one house for one week with tasks to complete each day.

The BTM Runway
The first collection to be showcased at the launch party was Millionnaire, which has a simple, subtle and edgy city feel. The models showcasing the designs gave the simple but subtle collection a real flavour as we were then aware that both male and females can wear the collection.

The second collection showcased on the night was the Dao London collection – designed by Zainab Dao. When we interviewed Zainab and asked her what inspired her collection pieces, she stated that there is not enough African inspired every-day wear pieces in London. So starting something which can hopefully be noticed by Mainstream media as not only traditional wear but can be worn on a daily occurrence, influenced her for fresh ideas.

The night wouldn’t have been complete without a networking session and a glass of bubbly. We met singer/songwriter Indiana Ifill whose blonde afro we couldn’t stop crushing on! We had a great chat with Radio presenter and host of the night Yinka whose tattoos looked stunning!

Born To Model TV Series1 Episode 1 airs in the summer time so keep your eyes peeled for behind the scenes footage up until then.
