More are more Nigerian women are making the agbada attire a ladies outfit. This two or three pieces attire use to be strictly a male piece. But Nigerian women have taken it and own it.
Tiwa Savage and her son Jamil attended the event held in honour of King Sunny Ade’s 70th birthday in Lagos wearing matching black Agbada attires. The top Nigerian female singer and mother of completed the look with a pair of red high-heeled sandals and long center-parted hair. Her makeup complimented her look. Her son Jamil completed the look with a matching cap and a pair of black shoes.
Since the Agbada attire started trending for women, many Nigerian celebrities and even Ghanaian celebrities have been seen rocking the traditional Yoruba outfit that is usually an outfit for men.
