Below are some of the natural hair queens we met at Africa Fashion Week London 2015. Africa Africa Fashion Week London is a yearly event that was first organised in 2011. Started by Ronke Ademuliyi, the event has been a platform for many Africans and African inspired designers to showcase their creations to a larger audience.
Yolaandas rocked her natural hair on day 1 and day 2 of Africa Fashion Week London and looked super gorgeous in them. The Swedish-Nigerian Youtuber who vlogs about her natural hair in the UK is one of the ambassadors to Motions Hair UK.
We also spotted UK natural hair blogger, Frogirlginny (right) who attended the fashion show event. Frogirlginny is a mixed raced blogger who embraced her natural hair after getting tired of straightening her hair with relaxers to make her kinky curly hair look like what is considered good hair.
On how she started her natural hair journey,Frogirlginny who we spotted on day one of the event wrote on her blog: “It started with a simple acceptance to love my natural hair that has somehow allowed me to grow as a person. Acceptance of your flaws and your imperfections leads to great things.
Embrace who you are, embrace everything about you, embrace your flaws. They are what make you, you.”
She attended the event with René Daniella (left). Both ladies did not just rock only their beautiful natural kinky hair – but wore these beautiful African print outfit that looked good on them.
This natural hair queen was a guest also rocked her natural hair made into braids elegantly at #AFWL2015 and we could not help but take a few snaps of her. Her African print dress was also on point.
The natural hair queens above all attended Africa Fashion Week London 2015. The fashion event which is the biggest Africa Fashion show event in Europe was fun and well attended.
