Simon Cowell became a father last night after girlfriend Lauren Silverman gave birth to a baby boy at 10.42pm UK time. The X Factor judge and music mogul is said to have travelled 3,500 miles from London to the Big Apple after Lauren phoned him in the middle of the night to say: “The baby’s on the way”
Simon Cowell’s baby boy weighed 6 pounds and 7 ounces, and was born at 17.45 EST on St. Valentines day (February 14, 2014).The baby boy is named after Cowell’s father Eric. Simon was by Lauren’s side at the hospital in New York after a Trans-Atlantic dash to get there in time.
Simon is 54, and this baby is his first. His girlfriend Lauren, who is 37, was expected to give birth around the 28th of February.
