Producer Says Aaliyah's Unreleased Album on the Way

Fans are eagerly anticipating to hear the late artist sing as Jeffey “J. Dub” Walker confirmed, Aaliyah’s Unreleased Album is on the Way.

Walker tweeted the following on Twitter, “Just got great news today; the smash unreleased song called ‘Steady Ground’ I produced on #Aaliyah is gonna be on her upcoming album:)”

Jeffey “J. Dub” Walker was the producer who co-wrote the tracks “I Refuse” and “What If” for Aaliyah’s 2001 self-titled album.

Furthermore, Walker explained the reason he did not make the album was because the engineer who was mixing the record somehow lost the vocals. The vocals that you hear in the video below are really just the demo vocals .

If Aliyah was still alive, she would have celebrated her 33rd birthday in January. The singer died in an airplane crash on August 22, 2001. She was 22 at the time.
