In an open letter released through Star Magazine, Mariah Carey’s big sister Alison Carey is begging the iconic star for forgiveness for what she did to her about 15 years ago. In the year 2000, singer Mariah Carey received one of the shock of her life when her own elder sister betrayed her by selling an unflattering story of her to the National Enquirer just to make a few cash.
As if that was not enough, Alison Carey, 50 and mother of four, who’s HIV positive and an ex-prostitute also attempted to write a tell-it-all book about her kid sister to make more money. The sad event resulted to the “Hero” singer cutting Alison out of her life 15 years ago.
But now, Alison claim she’s sorry for what she’s done to her little sister and has now written an open letter via Star Magazine asking Mariah to forgive her for what she did to her. In the letter, she said Mariah is “Irreplaceable” and the only little sister she’ll ever have and just want to have her back and show her she really loves her and not because she’s famous.
See what she has to say below:
[box type=”info” ]It’s hard not having you in my life. You’re irreplaceable. Not because you’re Mariah Carey, but because you’re my baby sister, the only one I’ll even have.
Yes, I could use your help, but outside of making a better life for my children, I’m not in this for what I can get. And I would be one of the few people that you could count on to tell you the truth, which is what I’ve always done for you. You need someone you could trust.
Of course I love you. I’ve always loved you. I just wish that we could let the past be the past and start over from here. I’ve done things that are wrong, but let me show you who I am today – who I can be for you, Mariah, as a sister.
Love, Dandelion.[/box]
