Mo Abudu Only Black Woman On Hollywood Reporter’s 25 Most Powerful Women In Global TV

Nigeria’s Mo Abudu, the Founder and Chief Executive of EbonyLife TV, was the only black woman listed on Hollywood Reporter‘s 25 most powerful women in Global TV. According to Hollywood Reporter “Nigerian entrepreneur Mo Abudu is revolutionizing pay TV in Africa.”

In the report, in which the self taught TV presenter and entrepreneur was listed among other women such as Shine chairman ElisabethMurdoch, FremantleMedia boss Cecile Frot-Coutaz, Endemol COO Martha Brass and many others.

Over the years, Mo has been likened to American talk show host and media mogul, Oprah Winfrey. Thus, many see her as the Oprah Winfrey of Africa.
