According to the organisers of Nigeria’s Next Top Designer, the winner of this year’s competition will have the chance to attend Africa Fashion Week London 2016 and also have the opportunity to attend the London Fashion Academy to pursue a short course in fashion design.
As part of the package the winner will be given a return ticket to one of the renowned fashion capitals of the world known for discovering new talents. London has been added to the mix powered by AVIENTI Travels.
“The London return ticket to be given by AVIENTI would afford the winner the opportunity to attend the 6th edition of the Africa Fashion Week London in August of 2016 at the prestigious west hall of the Olympia, in Kensington London,” says the organisers of Nigeria’s Next Top Designer.
As part of the tour, the winner would also visit the home of one of the event’s great supports – Raversbourne College UK. The school is supporting the event by giving FREE pattern cutting training classes to all registered participants of the fashion designing event.
In addition, the winner would also get to visit the office of the New African Woman Magazine who are the official media partner supporting the production process of the event.
The event’s winner would get to visit top fashion houses in the UK to meet with the brains behind the brand and to interact and see and ask questions on what makes them tick. “All in all, the lucky winner would get to live the life of a pampered fashionista while in the UK. All of these by THE organisers of NNTD 2016 in conjunction with our various supporting brands,” the organisers added.
“We are glad to be collaborating with Nigeria’s Next Top Designer competition on this as we believe that the Fashion industry can be as lucrative as the Oil & Gas industry.
AFWN/ NNTD contribution to the industry has been amazing and this is our small way of contributing to your success,” says Shade Ladipo of Avienti.
