With just one Hollywood film to her name, Lupita Nyong’o has received more awards and recognition than many stars who have been in the industry for years can boast of. The Mexican-born Kenyan star’ rise to fame and global recognition is what many of her colleagues can only dream of. The African Hollywood star and enviable black beauty is not just a multiple awards winning actress in the supporting role she played in “12 Years A Slave”, but a face that has graced many international and reputable magazines. As the Ambassador of Lancome Paris, she has been featured in campaigns for the French cosmetic maker.
And just recently, the African Hollywood star was featured in the latest edition of a Paris Match magazine looking every inch the superstar that she is. Wearing a super gorgeous red dress and a pair of red high-heeled sandals, the former Shuga Kenya star was photographed by the photographer, Alexi Lubomirski. And with her signature smile, Lupita looked flawless as usual. Her complimenting makeup was done by Lancome.

When asked about her she sees the industry, Lupita told Paris Match:
“From the outside, being an actress is very exciting, very glamorous. But inside, it’s hard. It takes many, many long hours. I saw it as a job. I want to be honest with the role I’m supposed to interpret. The trap is to do this job for social recognition”
