Kinshasa Fashion Week 2013: Moseka

Check out the pieces Moseka showcased at Kinshasa Fashion Week 2013. With African fashion week events taking over major cities in the last few years, Kinshasa is no stranger to this trend. After many years of being shunned by African and international fashionistas, African fashion and especially the ankara African print is now on a different stage. This is as a result of the several African fashion week event being organised across different cities. In addition, African fashion designers have upped their creative games and now design clothes to appeals to a wider audience.

Below are some of the pieces that were presented at Kinshasa Fashion Week 2013 by Moseka. Check them all out and you might find something to add to your wardrobe.

Moseka showcased a variety of ankara styles for women ranging from long and short dresses to pantsuits, trousers and pants with a combination of sleeves and necklines.

In terms of the dresses, you will find those that are body-hugging, with layers, are strapless or have one sleeve. There are also those that are long sleeved or even sleeveless.

some of the ankara fabrics are also combined with lace fabrics while most of them are combined with plain unicolour fabrics.
