Every year, Nigerian newspaper, Thisday organises the “Thisday Awards for Excellence”. The purpose of the award is to honour women who have done and achieved a lot in the Nigerian society. For this year, a host of special guest including Bill Clinton was invited. There were also Nigerian celebrities such as Onyeka Onwenu, Joke Silva and a host of other women who has achieved and done great work in their respective and the society at large.
