The Lagos premiere of the movie adaptation of Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie‘s best-selling novel “Half of a Yellow Sun” took place in Lagos on Saturday 12 April 2014 at the Silverbird Galleria, Victoria Island.
The star-studded event was attended by the movie’s director Biyi Bandele, Oscar nominee and BAFTA winner, Chiwetel Ejiofor (Odenigbo) and other cast and crew of the Half of a Yellow Sun movie such as Nollywood actress, Genevieve Nnaji (Ms. Adebayo), OC Ukeje (Aniekwena), Reginald Ofodile (Aniekwena) and Gloria Young (Aunty Ifeka).
