Forbes has released the list of the World’s Highest-Paid Musicians of 2014 and Rapper, music producer and entrepreneur, Dr. Dre is leading the pack with an astronomical $620 million income thanks to Apple’s $3 billion purchase of Beats by Dre that was announced earlier in May. Apart from occupying the top spot, this year’s earnings of the 49-year-old father of five is the highest yearly earnings total of any entertainer that FORBES Magazine has ever evaluated.
Dre’s earning is almost four times of what Beyonce, who is occupying the second spot earned in 2014. This year is also the most lucrative one for the queen of pop, Beyonce and it came courtesy of her Mrs. Carter Show tour, a surprise album release, and endorsements with the likes of Pepsi and H&M .
