British Woman Conned Out of 1.6 Million By Nigerian Fraudsters She Met Through Online Dating-3

A British woman in her 40s from was conned out of £1.6m by Nigerian love scam artists she met on an online dating site. The Hillingdon, London, woman was tricked into handing out almost 2 million pounds by thinking she was in a relationship with a wealthy divorcee father-of-one called Christian Anderson.

But in reality, she was really being tricked by a gang of conmen including Nigerian student Ife Ojo, 31, and NHS admin worker Olusegun Agbaje, 43.

The victim was told Anderson needed cash to fund engineering projects in Africa and free up inheritance that was being held in a Dutch vault.

The lonely heart woman started looking for a home where she could live with her suitor, met with his ‘lawyer’ and travelled to Amsterdam where she handed over a total sum of £1.6m to a gang of dating site conmen.

The two nigerian love fraudsters were arrested at at Agbaje’s home in Hornchurch, Essex. After the arrest, police searched Ojo’s home in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, and found a copy of Neil Strauss’s bestselling dating manual “The Game” with them. The book reveals the skills and techniques used by ‘pick up gurus’ to seduce women and milk them dry.
