Beyonce No.2 On Pollstar’s Top 20 Worldwide Tours

The year 2013 was a very successful one for Beyonce. Not only did her recently released self-titled album go platinum within six days after release, but she was also listed as number 2, on Pollstar’s top 20 worldwide tours in 2013. The top American music icon landed the second position by earning a whopping $188 million from her Mrs Carter tour.

The fist position went to Bon Jovi who made about $259.5 million from tours. And this is their all time highest earning from tours. The third position went to Pink, who earned about $170 million from her 2013 tours.

There were also a few newcomers who graced the Pollstar top 20 list. The UK boy band group, One Direction took the 10th position by earning a total of $114 million from their 2013 tour, while Bruno Mars grabbed the 17th position by earning about $72.4 million from tours as well.

Cirque de Soleil also shined on the list by grabbing the 7th position with about $133.4 million earnings from their “Michael Jackson: The Immortal” tour, as well as the 20th position by earning $61.7 Million from their “Corteo” tour.
