This year’s show in London saw an eclectic collection of bridal, evening, and menswear from the traditional wedding dresses from The Wedding Boudoir, to the traditional dresses mixed with African fabrics by Kemunto, fantastic menswear by KGTKKT, hats for any occasion by LinMir and the mix of evening and bridal wear by Pabs Couture, Maureen Amooti Couture and Simone Williams.

The stands were exquisitely decorated with lots of discounts available, tastings, samples and lots of giveaways for the visitors to the bridal show.

Exhibitors like Tama Ra Events, Safiyas Cakes and Rya-V Jewellery went beyond the call of duty in creating stand out stands.

Mother and daughter Pauline and Krystle Downie, who both appeared on Channel 4’s Million Pound Drop game show in February 2011, launched  “It’s My Magazine” and Kadence Bluu Hair Integration Solutions at the Mahogany Bridal Fashion Show.

One of the great things about the Mahogany Bridal Fashion Show is that it is a show that is a fusion between fashion and music and at this year’s show Justin of A1 Ballads played the Saxophone for each of the designers that showcased and one of the hottest gospel choirs around, CK Gospel Choir performed a medley of songs that sounded heavenly.

The Mahogany Bridal Fashion Show is about presenting alternative options for the bride and groom to wear on their wedding day and visitors being able to find goods and services that meet their cultural needs.
The Show is organised, produced and choreographed by Mahogany Events who also own the Top Model of Colour (TMC) competition, Mahogany Models and Mahogany Model Management.

There are plans to host another show in October 2012, “thus doing two shows a year in an attempt to meet the demands for our shows,” said the organizers.
