- Angelina Jolie meets Pope Francis
American actress and producer Angelina Jolie has met with rock stars, refugees, royalty and now with the Catholic Pope. The humanitarian causes promoter met and exchanged greetings with Pope Francis yesterday after the screening of her film “Unbroken” for Vatican officials.
Angelina Jolie was in Rome this week and the private screening of her film took place on Thursday at the Vatican city.
A few months ago, (October 2014) the jet-setting actress met Queen Elizabeth who named her an honorary dame. See the picture of their meeting below.
