The police officer who was caught on camera pleading for his life to be spared before he was shot dead at close range by two masked terrorist brothers brandishing Kalashnikovs and rocket launchers have been identified. Ahmed Merabet is the 42-year-old French police officer that died through a cold blooded execution in Paris on January 7th. The cycle police officer was a married man and a Muslim – the same faith as the fanatics that took his life. He was assigned to the Paris neighborhood where Charlie Hebdo’s office is located. He is among the two police officers that were killed in the attack that lead to the death of 12 people.
