Rihanna paired her outfit with a matching bucket hat and clutch bag. She completed the look with a pair of red sandals, red lipstick and a golden neckpiece and bangles.
The “Umbrella” singer is known for taking fashion risks, from transparent see-through dresses to outfits that most people will never be brave enough to wear. And the 26-year-old music star was not named a fashion icon by CDFA for nothing. She’s always been daring in her fashion style and follows her own fashion rules.
When CFDA CEO, Steven Kolb was announcing Rihanna’s award, he said, “We are proud to present Rihanna with the CFDA Fashion Icon Award for her impact on the industry as fashion’s most exciting ambassador in recent memory.”

The statement shiny navy blue raincoat inspired outfit was paired with a matching piece of hat that was made of the same shiny navy blue fabric. Adding another statement piece to her look, Rihanna is seen wearing a thick gold necklace that she combined with another thin and longer beckpiecee.
