Nigerian Stephen Ojerinola Stabbed to Death in South London

Two men has been detained and charged with the murder of 18 years old Stephen Ojerinola. Stephen’s dead body was found on Sunday the 24th of November in Lynsted Garden, Eltham. Test results showed that the teenager was stabbed to death.

Thirty-five years old Lee Davies of Blackheath, South London and Thirty-six old William Regan of Lynsted Gardens have been charged with the murder of Stephen Ojerinola.

According to the family statement read by Lee Jasper, “Steven was a teenager. He faced challenges typical for someone of his age. Nevertheless, Stephen had huge potentials and his entire life before him”.

Mr Steven Ojerinola has been missing since April 2011. On Sunday the 20th of November 2011, his lifeless body was found by the police. Since his death, a total of seven people have been arrested.

The Ojerinola’s family is being represented by Lee Jasper. Lee Jasper is a leading campaigner for social justice and race equality as well as a Senior Policy Director for Equalities and Policing in London.
