A 13-year-old teenage girl has been arrested by the Nigerian police for wearing an explosives-packed vest. The incident took place yesterday December 11th in Kano state while the teenage girl and her male accomplice were in the hospital where they were supposedly seeking medical attention. The police was called to the scene to foil their suicide bombing mission when a hospital staff got suspicious about them. The duo were immediately arrested by the police and taken to the station for interrogation.

On searching the teenage girl, it was discovered she was wearing explosives under her hijab. It was later revealed by the police that the young suicide bomber was from Bauchi state and belongs to a “suicide team” that carried out an attack on a market in Kano, on Wednesday December 10th.
