Gorgeous Leila Lopes from Angola has been crowned miss universe 2011 after competing with 88 other contestants representing their countries.

Miss Leila Lopes who beats 88 other competitors at the Brazil pageant is from Angola and has a big plan to help her home country who has suffered a history of war. He plans to focus on combating HIV around the globe. Shortly after taking the crown on Tuesday in South America’s largest city, Miss Lopes said: “As miss Angola, I will do a lot to help my people”. Miss Lopes was asked if she has ever had surgery of any kind. Responding to the question, Miss Lopes said that she has never had any cosmetic surgery of any kind and that her three tips for beauty were to get a lot of sleep, use sunblock even if it is not sunny and drink a lot of water. She was asked another question, what was your best weapon in the competition? She responded, “my best weapon was my smile.” She was asked if she has encountered any utterance of racism since she was one of the few blacks in the competition. Lopes said,” any racists need to seek help.”

The 25 years old is Angola’s first winner who beats 88 other contestants to win the title during the 60th anniversary of the world’s beauty pageant. She was asked in an interview what physical traits she will change if she could? She responded, “Thank God I am very satisfied with the way God created me so; I would not change a thing.” She further said “I consider myself a woman endowed with inner beauty, and I have acquired wonderful principles from my family and I intend to keep it and follow it for the rest of my life.
