American pop star and actress, Madonna fell off the stage while performing at the 2015 BRIT Awards that was held at O2. The 56-year-old material girl fell down a set of stairs and landed awkwardly as one of her dancer tried to untie the cape she was wearing during her performance of Living For Love at the O2.
The best-selling female recording artist of all time according to Guinness World Records recovered from the fall and immediately continued with her live performance.
After the incident, the business woman and mother of four issued a statement stating she was “fine” and that the reason she fell was because her cape was “tied too tight”.
She took to her Instagram page to talk about being lifted by love and thanked her well wishers.
The 56-year-old star issued a statement later saying she was “fine” and that her cape had been “tied too tight”. “Nothing can stop me and love really lifted me up,” she posted. “Thanks for your good wishes!”
