The Cameroonian international and Lille defender, Aurélien Chedjou, has been given a match ban for racial insult against Ajaccio’s player Johan Cavalli.
The French professional league (LPF) discipline commission ruled the racial-insult case opposing Chedjou to Cavalli yesterday.
Chedjou was found guilty of insulting Cavalli “sale Corse” (dirty Corse) during a matchday 32 encounter and was given a match ban, which prevents him from playing the last round of the “Ligue” 1.
