The American Ballet Theatre Spring Gala 2014 took place in New York on Monday night, the 12th of May. The 33-year-old singer and member of former girl group – Destiny’s Child was spotted wearing a yellow Lanvin Woven Draped Dress and coordinating heels as she attended the event. This is her first public appearance since she secretly married her long-term boyfriend – Tim Witherspoon in a low-key wedding on Friday, May 9th in Costa Rica. According to Us Weekly, Kelly Rowland only invited a handful of guests that included Beyonce and her sister Solange Knowles, as well as Michelle Williams.
“It was a quick, simple ceremony — only around 30 people,” a source told Us Magazine about the wedding. Rowland’s publicist did not respond to the media outlet’s requests for comment regarding the ceremony. Tim Witherspoon is Kelly’s manager – while on the Queen Latifah Show in December last year, Kelly revealed that she and Tim were engaged.”He put a ring on it!” she said excitedly, as well as revealing that Witherspoon proposed via Skype while the X Factor USA judge was in Bulgaria. At the time Kelly said: “It’s been a while. We’ve kept it very, very low – for years, to be completely honest.”
