Yesterday, Jordan vowed to retaliate the killing of it’s pilot by ISIS and stood by its word as the country announced early this morning that two Al-Qaeda terrorists in their custody have been executed.
Jordanian pilot, Moath al-Kasasbeh was gruesomely murdered by ISIS and the video was released online. Kasasbeh who was dressed in an orange jumpsuit was locked up in a cage, doused with fuel and burned alive. He was supposed to be exchanged with failed female suicide bomber, Sajida al-Rishawi before his was killed in a brutal way.
As retaliation of Kasasbeh’s execution, two Jordanian prisoners, Sajida al-Rishawi and Ziad al-Karbouli were executed by Jordan.
Al-Rishawi has been on death row for her role in a triple hotel bombing in the Jordanian capital of Amman in 2005 that killed 57 people. She’s the same person ISIS had asked to have in exchange for the release of Moath. Jordan has promised more harsh punishments.
