Brit Awards Winners 2016

The Brit Awards 2016 took place at the O2 Arena in London, Britain, on the 24th of February. Both British and international stars were nominated for the award. But unfortunately, like the Oscars tagged OscarSoWhite, the Brit Awards 2016 had no black artist on their list. Below is the full list of the winner of the 2016 Brit Awards.

Adele
The 27-year-old British singer and songwriter was the night’s biggest winner as she took home three Brit Awards. They won the British Female Solo Award, British Single Award for “Hello”, and MasterCard British Album Award for 25. The mother of one also won the Global Success Award for this year’s edition.

Jack Garratt

Catfish And The Bottlemen

Justin Bieber

The 21-year-old Canadian singer, songwriter and record producer won the Brit Award for International Male Solo Artist. He also did a live performance at the event.

Tame Impala

David Bowie
The Brit Awards also featured an emotional tribute to David Bowie. The British singer, songwriter and musician died from liver cancer last month in his New York City apartment at 69. The tribute was led by Annie Lennox and his friend Gary Oldman. They were later joined by New Zealand singer Lourdes, who performed “Life On Mars” with the duo.
