Born To Lead: From First Black Elected To Head Harvard’s Law Review To First Black US President

President Barack Obama was definitely born to lead. His election to lead the world’s most powerful country was not just a coincidence but as a result of taking charge at different levels of his life.

More than 30 years ago, the New York Times published an article that profiled a young Obama entitled: “First black elected to head Harvard’s Law Review.” And Barack Obama went on to become the first black American to be elected as the president of the United States.

Obama became the president of the United States after an election that took place in 2008. In 2012, he was elected to serve a second and final term.

The newspaper cutout of Obama’s profile by the NYTimes was taken from their archive and published today.
